"The Art of Mentoring" Training Course, April 2023, in Gyumri, Armenia
The two young ladies; Lorin Samawi and Tala Salman from Desert Bloom, attended the training course " the Art of mentoring", Armenia, from 8th - 15th of April 2023, hosted by YIC Gyumri Youth Initiative Centre NGO, Armenia, under Erasmus plus program (co-funded by European Union)
The project goal is to equip participants with the competencies needed to work as a mentor in international projects and support volunteers. The course focused on developing the core skills of mentoring, active listening, creative thinking. Also, we tackled conflict and crisis management and being able to understand and express emotions.
